2. About the Organization

Consequently, The Voice of Women, LLC was born from the understanding that lineages have been erased, stories have been silenced, and restoration is not only possible—it is necessary.

The Organization, is a movement-building organization founded by Essie Beamon, dedicated to restoring erased lineages, honoring women’s stories, and building ceremonial infrastructure for healing, advocacy, and intergenerational empowerment.

In addition, it is registered as a limited liability company in the State of Maryland.

Thus, nothing on this website constitutes legal, medical, therapeutic, or financial advice. Therefore, the information and content provided are for informational, educational, ceremonial, and advocacy purposes only.

3. User Responsibilities

For example, to walk in this space is to accept a responsibility: that you will carry yourself with the same dignity you wish to receive.

Meanwhile, all content on this website, including text, images, logos, ceremonial frameworks, curriculum materials, storytelling archives, spoken-word scripts, affirmations, proclamations, event designs, organizational blueprints;

and the name “The Voice of Women,” the name “Keeper of the Fire Circle,” and all original creative and structural works, is the exclusive intellectual property of The Voice of Women, LLC and/or Essie Beamon.

5. Event Participation

Gatherings are held as sacred ground—spaces where healing, truth, and ceremony converge. Entry into these spaces carries both privilege and responsibility.

The Voice of Women, LLC hosts ceremonial, restorative, and educational events.

By registering for or attending any event organized or facilitated by the Organization, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• You acknowledge that events are designed as sacred, trauma-informed spaces and agree to conduct yourself accordingly.
• You agree to follow all event guidelines, codes of conduct, and instructions from organizers and facilitators.
• You understand that events may be free and invitation-only, and that the Organization reserves the right to revoke invitations or deny entry at its sole discretion.
• You acknowledge that events may involve emotional, spiritual, or ceremonial content and that your participation is entirely voluntary.
• You assume all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to emotional responses that may arise from engagement with sensitive content.
• Photography, recording, and live-streaming are strictly prohibited unless expressly authorized in writing by the Organization.
• The Organization is not responsible for personal injury, loss of property, or emotional distress arising from event attendance.
• Event cancellations or modifications may occur at any time. The Organization will make reasonable efforts to notify participants but is not liable for changes, cancellations, or scheduling modifications.

6. Storytelling Submissions and Story Sovereignty

Every story shared within this space is sovereign. It belongs to the woman who lived it, the lineage that carried it, and the fire that refuses to let it be erased.

By submitting a story, testimony, narrative, or any personal content to The Voice of Women, LLC, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• You grant the Organization a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, publish, and distribute your submission in connection with the Organization’s mission, including but not limited to website content, publications, documentaries, educational materials, and ceremonial archives.
• You retain ownership of your original story. You may request removal of your submission at any time by contacting the Organization in writing. The Organization will make reasonable efforts to remove your content within thirty (30) days of receiving such request, except where it has been incorporated into previously published or distributed works.
• You represent and warrant that your submission is truthful, that it is your own story or that you have proper authorization to share it, and that it does not infringe on the rights of any third party.
• The Organization reserves the right to edit submissions for clarity, length, or sensitivity without altering their meaning or spirit.
• The Organization will handle all submissions with trauma-informed care, cultural sensitivity, and deep respect for the dignity of every voice.
• Submissions involving minors require the written consent of a parent or legal guardian prior to submission.
• Anonymous submissions are accepted and will be honored as such, unless disclosure is required by law.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Most importantly, we hold your personal information with the same care and reverence with which we hold your stories.

• The Organization collects only information voluntarily provided by users, including but not limited to name, email address, story submissions, and event registrations.
• Personal information will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
• Information may be shared with trusted partners or service providers solely to fulfill the Organization’s mission and operational needs.
• Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data by contacting the Organization using the information provided in Section 17 of these Terms.
